Effects of irrigation regimes and brown manuring on physiological parameters and yield of direct seeded rice (TRY 3) under sodic soil condition

Direct seeded rice (DSR) production has been recognised as a more efficient way for conserving both labour and water. However, in regards to irrigation brown manuring (BM), DSR gotten relatively little attention. Hence, field study was conducted findout the effect of on physiological characters yield (TRY 3) under sodic soil condition. The experiment laid out split plot design each replicated thrice. main plots consist after 10 cm (M1) 15 (M2) depletion water tube disappearance ponded (M3). sub sesbania BM at (S1), 20 (S2) 25 kg ha-1 (S3), PE Pretilachlor 0.45 fb PoE Bispyribac sodium g + hand weeding (HW) 45 DAS (S4), HW (S5) weedy check (S6). Results revealed that higher SPAD value recorded M3 which par with M1. Among maximum S5 followed by S4 S2. Treatment M2 proline content. There is no significant difference found relative content (RWC). RWC observed M3. At same time, grain straw were S5, M1 S5. due large amount required costs associated weeding, S2 best choice increasing productivity.
